Hi,

Thank you.

Freescale Kinetis is already supported.
There is also a SEGGER embOS trial project for Kinetis K70 available from the sample projects page (http://emide.org/projects.html)

To create a new project for a Kinetis device use the project wizard (Create new project... -> Embedded Application) and select 'Freescale' as device manufacturer and than your device.

If you are missing your device in the selection,
please tell me which device you are using and I will have a look at why it is not listed.

Best regards,
Johannes - emIDE

Hello there,

Thank you so much for the response,

Where within emIDE can one select the MCU because

base on the templates below are the only options:

Analog_Blinky_ADuCM360
Analog_RTD_ADuCM360
ATMEL_Blinky_AT91SAM7S64-EK
Cypress_Start_PSoc4
Infineon_Start_XMC4500
Nuvoton_NUC140VE3
Renesas_Blinky_RSKRX111
Renesas_Blinky_RSKRX210
Renesas_Blinky_RSKRX610
Renesas_Blinky_RSKRX62T
Renesas_Blinky_RSKRX630
Start_ARM7
Start_CortexM
ST_Blinky_STM3240G-EVAL
ST_SelfModifyingCode_STM32F4
ST_STM32F407IE_1x16bit_CFI_NOR_nCS0

I don't see Freescale Kinetis MCUs.

Thank you.

Hi,

There is a Project wizard which helps you creating a project for your specific target / MCU.
How to create a new project is described at http://emide.org/documentation_gettingstarted.html
Make sure to select 'Projects' instead of 'Templates' on the left in the first dialog.

The templates are created just for a few targets to show some functionality.

Instead of creating a whole new project you could also use the SEGGER embOS Trial for Cortex-M which also includes an emIDE project for Freescale Kinetis K70. (http://www.segger.com/download_embos-ar ... emide.html)

Does this make it a bit clearer for you?

Best regards

That's nasty because:
it complains when the source code control system (SCCS) sets the files to read/only unless that are explicitly checked out
it creates new versions in the SCCS without any user edited change

Hi,

I do not understand how your problem is related to Freescale Kinetis projects.
I do also not understand which files you are referring to and when this happens.

Best regards
