Can't see disassembly

Can't see disassembly

I'm trying a few packages for a new STM32 project so I can decide which to use. Basically I'm just building the example where main() just increments cnt. A really useful thing in Keil is the software simulator so you can step through the code. But I can't get the disassembly window to show anything and so can't see the disassembled code. Do I have to have a JLINK connected to a target board to get to see the disassembly or is there a basic setting I'm missing?
